About Me

Study hard - Travel harder - Enjoy diversity

A two meter tall guy, who is traveling around the world.

My Name is David Panusch, i come from a city called Coburg. I am friendly, open minded, helpful, caring and patient. I want to gain experiences of so many different cultures and religions as possible, that´s why I want to surf. Enjoying Diversity Around the world.

Who am I:

I´m a student from Germany. After 13 Years of school I said to myself "I want to travel and explore the world. That´s where i realized that i m the king of man who wants to travel, who wants to share experiences, who is hungry enough to never settle somewhere and kerry on. Now i m here in Erlangen for a 6 Semester study Electrical Engineering. Well between those semesters i m traveling, I just need it :-). Further mores i m in the ( Board of European Students of Technology) BEST to help other Students in Europe to develop themselves in an international way.

After a long time being around australia and New Zealand i really want to travel around Europe. I think it s really worth to visit the states close to me instead of flying so far away.

My hobbies are:

Tracking, Hitchhiking, hiking, electronical Stuff. I'm also a photographer ( was able to shoot the red carpet at the hobbit premiere 2012), an IT professional and handyman. Now my creative spirit is developing as VP of PR for BEST ^^.

If you want you can see my photos on my Facebook-Page.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Enjoying Diversity around the world.

We are living altogether in one awesome world, but most of the people are settling down. I want to share with them my experiences so far, want the people i meet to be part of that experience. Be part of making the world a better place to be.

I ve very good experiences with CS Families. They cooked very good meals and they were very talkative as well. Was very interesting exchanging thoughts, music and storys of adventures.
Also learned different things about social live in certain countries or religions.
Awesome hospitality of NZ, OZ and Germany. Different Religions form around the world.

How do i manage my day? :-)

I´m that guy who likes to go outside and take photos ( makro, landsacape, protrait ), if it´s rainy i´m be as crazy as i can to perform a Sun dance to go out again ^^, reading books or enhance my photos.
Also I m going outside to find Geocaches and explorer new land with friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teneriffa, Spain: Laying in the gras at the foot of the Pico del Teide at Night and watching the mikly way, so beautiful to see. Suddenly two starlites appeared. That was a mindblowing moment.
Another breathtaking moment was as the low tide on the raraka beach in Northland NZ appears. All wt water went still at night an the milky way was laying beneath your feet . You could actually walk on the milky way.
