Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Working my tail off to achieve financial independence (not wealth... I'm a teacher...) soon.
ABOUT ME
Slightly introverted, but I totally love to travel and make lasting relationships wherever I go. I love music and value education. I wish the world could put down arms and embrace diplomacy, even at the cost of compromise.
PHILOSOPHY
I like to live life openly and honestly, and in a way that might inspire people, while also absorbing as much as I can from the people I meet and the places I go. When life gets crazy, I keep on truckin' until it's cozy again.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
This is a small conservative town where I kinda stick out, all the tattoos and fun appearance. I work hard, and wouldn't mind hosting travelers during the school year, and I'd like to get out over the summer and do some traveling. I enjoy being in front of a good book or the computer, and small group gatherings (everyone needs to eat, right?).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't really had any couch-surfing experiences outside of college, where friends would occasionally crash over. Typically involved some video games, but that was college :)
Interests
My dogs and my gardening are important to me. I like my house, and taking care of it. Definitely LOVE music (chorus/guitar teacher). Tattoos and the real stories behind them. Education. Not just school education, learning and enjoying new experiences every day wherever I am.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't watch TV any more, although I have a couple. Music: anything but country. Seriously, rap and opera could be back to back on my iPod and I love them both. Books: I have a healthy mix of classics, psychology, biography, and of course I'm down for a good sci-fi series.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Came out. Craziest experience I've ever had, but it all turned out well, and now it's such a huge relief to be the real me.
Teach, Learn, Share
anyone positive, although I'd like to move to Seattle, Washington, so anyone from WA would be awesome, and anyone who likes music.
