ABOUT ME

Here we go. Hello couchsurfers, what's the craic? I'm Davide, I like Pearl Jam, bbqing on the beach and wearing cool hats. And, obviously, I love travelling around the world, I hope you can help with that. I lived and studied in a couple of European cities such as Glasgow and Berlin. Now I'm in Rome, where I attend a school of journalism.

Interests

Journalist: that's what I will be in a couple of years if everything goes how it has to. I like (and I'm learning) to deal with European politics and macroeconomics. I also like world news. At the moment I am reading a book: The Second Coming, by John Niven, it's terrific! It talks about Jesus and talent shows. Today afternoon, as it happens very often during the summer, I will go to the beach, that's my natural environment and when I will have enough money (maybe in 45 years) I will buy a house close to the waves!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Istanbul: A homeless guy took me and my friends to the cavern where he used to sleep. It overlooked the Bosphorus and we had fresh fish with some fishermen (nice tongue-twister)
Budapest: Just arrived with my two best friends and got completely lost. It was night and we slept in the house of a random creepy old woman who picked us
Leon (Spain): Bus station, missed the bus to Oviedo and went to the hairdresser. The woman who cut my hair was from Jerusalem and she told me her story. It was one of the very few times I really got in touch with someone
