Born In the UK, England actually, emigrated to Australia with family in 1991. Now an Australian!

Work as transport professional in Sydney. Widower with 3 children and several grand children.

PHILOSOPHY

Live to enjoy myself, be as nice as my limited patience will let me be to people in general and my friends and family in particular. More relaxed now than at anytime in my life due to life experiences to date, and know that an open friendly approach to life is working well for me and those I meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet similar minded people at home and abroad

Tried some years ago for NYC ended up getting a AAA rate in decent hotel with a view to Manhattan. Met a potential host for dinner in Hoboken and it was like meeting the real life cast of friends! Even more disappointed I hadn't been able to surf with these wonderful people .....stayed with a great Guy in Canberra for 10 days, looked after the escaping chicken in between rushing here and there...

Oh please....but being on stage as a non singing extra in an opera at the Sydney opera house for the full 13 performance run.

Hearing some wonderful musicians including singers in Europe America and Australia, e.g Barge Music Brooklyn, and I can give your a list of singers anyday....
