About Me

To travel overland from Hong Kong to Morocco

Grew up and live in Melbourne, Australia. Love life, laughing, friends, sport, and of course, travel. I have graduated from Melbourne university and am now trying to travel as much as I can before going back to uni or getting a job. Always up for something new, spontaneous, and of ccourse good times. Easy going and love meeting new people!

You only live once.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Newish to couch surfing but not the concept. Surfed with a Chinese guy in Guiyang, China's poorest province captial. It was an incredible experience. But the time my friend (ByronAU) and I had woken up the first morning, Richo (our Chinese host we met on the train) had planned out the rest of the week for us. He showed us around town, took us drinking with the Chinese police department, and even hiking with a Chinese hiking group! Whilst I would never expect so much of any host on Couch Surfing, it really was the highlight of the China trip to be able to spend time living and enjoying life with a local in his hime town.

Travel, surfing, travel, surfing, outdoor adventures, sport, cycling, hiking, guitar, music, laughing, partying. But meeting new people to do these things with is the best.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Trans-Siberian Railway was incredible and I would recommend it to anyone who has ever thought about it. But staying with a local that we met on a train in China's poorest province was probably the most amazing thing I have ever done.
