About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find a balance between work and travel that allows me to do both sustainably

ABOUT ME

It is not possible to know everything about a person in a short paragraph on a website, but that being said, saying something is a must, even only as an introduction. So here is my introduction:

Life is typically summed up in terms of the things you like and the things that you do...often these overlap. The things I do/like are the following:

Sports (Triathlons at the moment)
Reading
Traveling
Telling stories
Learning about new people and new places
Arts & Culture

Apart from this I can be funny or serious - as the occasion permits - will always say yes to an experience that I have not had (barring of course a guaranteed hazard), and because I have a degree in Philosophy will go on and on about meaningless things.

PHILOSOPHY

There is nothing I can write here that has not already been said and likely said better than I can say it here. I try to incorporate the things I encounter that provide value for my life in everything I do. Endless yet simple.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by providing groceries or a small fee for those I stay with. More importantly, I keep all my things tidy and make sure that my footprint is relegated to the result of good conversation rather than any variation of odor, dirt, or taking advantage of one's hospitality.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I will be running the Ironman in a week.
Most other amazing things I've seen have been between the covers of books.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have an MA in Philosophy so you can choose a topic from the history of philosophy and I can probably speak about it, even if only briefly.

I want to meet people that know how/can teach to laugh. The world needs laughter as much as anything else.
