Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel and I like to meet other like minded people. Couchsurfing is a great way to do that! I have now been a guest for a few people and all have been great experiences. I’ve appreciated hosts hospitality and their willingness to share their home and knowledge of the place they live.

Interests

I enjoy yoga, meditation, travel (solo and with my child), cooking, good food, and meeting great people. I like an adventure - whether it be a hike in the trails of my hometown, Kodiak, Alaska or an excursion on the other side of the globe.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies that make me laugh are important! I love opera and world/global music. Books that I love include true stories ( autobiographical abs biographical) as well as humorous, self help, spiritual and drama. Favorite author: Isabel Allende.

Gave birth naturally to my daughter.

Teach, Learn, Share

My experiences in my life (yoga, meditation, travel, cooking, Ayurveda, single mom, other experiences particularly of self-help and spiritual nature) have brought me to where /who I am now. Living in and coming from Alaska.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can always share cooking - I like to cook healthy and delicious vegan , vegetarian, Ayurvedic foods. I can also share yoga - I have taught yoga for many years.
