to travel for as long as funds allow
outgoing and adventurous, thoughtful, funny, interesting. im a leo so im pretty outspoken, strong, capable. i like to laugh a lot, life is funny is it not?
I owned a shop for 18 years, and for the last year or so I hated going to work. then i realised i didnt have to stay so i closed the shop, sold all my possessions, and left to seek joy, laughter, good times, challenges and fulfilment. i think i have suceeded so far...:)))
really simple - life is short - be happy. oh, and be kind.
One thing i have concluded from travelling - people are the same all over the world, we all seem to want the same things, to love and be loved.which leads me to the question - why the heck is there so much animosity in the world??? we are all brothers and sisters, stop focussing on the differences and search for the commonalities.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
well i have just joined so i am unable to host right now but i look forward to when i am able to. i have always offered my couch to people on an informal basis tho, why the heck not?
only one so im a novice. met a cool guy in rotterdam who introduced me to couch surfing. i like the idea - besides saving money ;p, you get to meet LOCALS, potentially see/hear about things you would not normally see as a straight tourist following the usual tourist path. in the hostels you generally only meet tourists. fellow travellers are cool, they have good tips, but the locals is really where you get a feel for the country you are visiting. plus i am interested in how people feel about their country, economy, politics. it is the only way to get to know a country besides actually living there (or reading about it!)
anything unusual, a concept or idea, or something visual perhaps. something different!
yoga, enlightenment, religion/culture.
most music, espec live.
i am a bit of a social butterfly.
Eating Drinking Dancing Partying Sleeping Reading Mental Stimulation - especially that ahhhh moment
Mother Nature in all her wondrous splendour.
Interesting conversation coupled with wine, beer and everything else in between, followed by wild all nite dancing and then watching the sun rise with complete satisfaction - the perfect saturday nite.
Music, Movies, and Books
bad boy bubby, lord of the rings, pink floyd the wall, the matrix, the time travellers wife - my top five. if you haven,t seen it i highly recommend bad boy bubby - unforgettable.
i read everything but my faves are generally novels, usually heartwrenching, about other cultures - amy tan, alice walker
love dancing and music - mostly reggae and drum and bass/electronica, and good ole rock.

my shop delved into the esoteric so i am fairly well versed in this, also body percing.
Oh and i practice natural medicíne, so im pretty sharp in that area, but not to the degree of a naturopath, lower expectations pls! philosopy, religion...as long as u dont offend easily, i like to be able to express my honest opinions. and of course i can teach you about nz, in particular from a native perspective as i am half maori.
