About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See the world. Take good notes.
ABOUT ME
I'm a reader and a writer trying to figure out how I can make a life for myself doing those things. I just left my job as a paralegal after saving up to travel for a while, and my next life goal is to fill up my passport before it expires. I'm excellent at Set, mediocre at Scrabble, and terrible at Monopoly. I'm also very tall.
PHILOSOPHY
Leave your world better than you found it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm pretty new to the CouchSurfing community (with the exceptions of a couple of parties I went to with a study-abroad friend in Argentina) but am looking forward to meeting new people and giving back!
Interests
Traveling. Reading. Writing. Cooking. Eating. Hiking. I like living in the city, and I like feeling myself shrink when I leave. I like meeting new people and hearing about their lives. I love long discussions that end up in a totally different place from where they started. I love learning of all kinds and in all ways.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a giant book nerd. A quick sampling of my favorites includes Ernest Hemingway, Virginia Woolf, and Cormac McCarthy, and, like any good San Francisco twentysomething, I've read Infinite Jest (one-and-a-half times) and can recite each year of Subsidized Time from memory, in order, from the Year of the Whopper to the Year of Glad.
