Travelling around Europe and beyond for summer 2016 till September
I love running into kindred spirits and having conversations about nothing at all. I squint alot when using the computer, have astigmatism but am too vain to wear real glasses. I absolutely love milky drinks even though I'm slightly lactose intolerant and I firmly believe that forbidden fruits taste best.
PS: Now that I've worked on a dairy farm, I realized I'm ok with fresh untreated raw milk om nom nom!
Try everything once. If you don't, how would you know whether you like it or not? I have lived a portion of my life with imagined limitations and religious indoctrinations but I am working towards doing things as I see fit, not how someone else sees fit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I read somewhere that there's the secret power of oxytocin from positive group participation. I like being around positive people with good qi. It calms me down.
Not really thru CS. I was 19 and I ended up in New York on a cheap flight, skipped classes in Barcelona.
I ran out of money for the final night before my flight home so I thought, let's chuck my bag somewhere and roam the streets till daylight before catching my flight. Instead, I ran into the nice boy I met during the orientation I crashed. He had many empty beds in the NYU dorm that he was staying in. Needless to say, I had a bed for the night, all warm and safe. Thank Buddha for kind people!
Avid foodie, can't drive so love riding around in cars and sticking my head out, used to swipe "RESERVED" signs from clubs and bars, googling, trains, mushing my brain, day-dreaming, buying cute notebooks and not using them, stationery shops and the smell of new paper increases my heart rate, going somewhere I've never gone before.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Vibing with kindred spirits under the blanket of stars and the company of the lapping waves. Fuhhh I'm a POET!
Teach, Learn, Share
I just learnt that charcoal can absorb smells and cigarette smoke, so leave one in your car. I think hairclips are the new hairbands and ties are the new headbands! I can teach you Malay and Mandarin streetspeak.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook Malay dishes, even a simple home-cooked vege stir fry or noodles will be a welcomed change to tuna sandwiches as I'm usually on a budget when travelling. I am open to new ideas about how to live my life in a fuller more fulfilling way and love hearing travel stories and anecdotes.
