About Me

I am trying to find a place where to settle down LOL

Back in paris, if you guys want to hang out

I am kind of a nomad, I am based in Paris but I must say that it's been 5 years that I am traveling! I am more or less traveling during 8 months on 12, I am going back to Paris only for the exams! That's why I have been able to do the schooling and traveling at the same time, Paris is damn expensive that it cost me the same to travel or to live in Paris! My parents live in the city so I can always crash there, and it's kind of easy for me to go back to their place, I still have my room there! -I am curious, funny sometimes, -I like to meet people, different cultures, I like to learn new languages (swedish and Hebrew in the coming years)-I liked what I studied in university (international relations + political science)- I am addicted to news paper! I enjoy speaking with people who are aware of what's going on in the world! -I like japanese, thai, french food-I like wine, cheese, baguette of course :p-I like to watch movies when its cold and raining -I like to dance, to drink, to party a lot (I have been to some of the best place in the world to party)-I like to sleep but not too much-I dont like the french people in general (even if I am french and supposed to love my brothers), I am seriously different, even if i am a true 100% Parisian!-I dont like Paris , I could easily explain my feelings, I can make you change your mind if you are a Paris lover! I have really good reasons! What you can expect from me : - to keep your apartment clean - to switch off the lights in the un-used rooms - to wash glasses and dishes that I use - to not monopolize the bathroom, I will bring my own towels and soap, toothpaste... - to understand that you will not provide the food!what I expect from my host is : - advices for the best places to see in their town :D- to make my journey in their city unforgettable :D

Tomorrow will be, Yesterday has been, Today is in the making !

The world is a book, and those who do not travel, read only a page.

"I dislike feeling at home when I am abroad."

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I can't host because I went back to my parents place, and they are not ready to share their couch (mom is sleepless and always reading in the living room!!!..

and I am a nomad

but I can make you visit my city as much as possible, nice place (café, bars, restaurant, clubs) as typical French, living in Paris .. and the non touristic part of Paris which is the best! I know some very cool places in this town!

I live in one of the most expensive city and I grew up in nice area of Paris so I am used to pay at least 5e for a cola, so If you are on a very very low budget I am definitely not the good person to meet, I am kind of bored to pay the drinks without having one payed in return! ! If you find a cheap flight ticket with Ryan Air don't forget that Paris is still in an expensive city!

and I don't consider couchsurfing as a way to travel without spending money, when i am staying at someone's place I always bring something and invite my host which cost me sometimes even more than going to an hostel sleeping in a dorm! spending time with the locals is the only thing I hope you are interested in!

here some tips about my city:
I can recommend you some nice places where I usually go (no tourist, only locals, and nice places!!!)

-Saint germain des près is a nice district, you can stop at the metro station saint germain or Odeon or Mabillon, you can go to 2 nice cafés where i usually go "La Palette" and "Le bar du marché", ask in the street to the locals they will show you
a nice restaurant cheap and good in this same district is "Le pied de fouet" open at 8pm, try to arrive early its tiny and quickly crowded

-Saint Michel/ Cluny La sorbonne, is where is my university, there are a lot of nice cafés to sit in front of Sorbonne University, you can meet the locals and student there
there is a street called "rue Mouffetard" where you can have cheap beers and nice french food, like crêpes or galette, it's behind the Panthéon, ask the Panthéon and then you will find rue mouffetard easily

-if you wanna have a beer at night in a nice and laid back place, with nice locals you can go to "le rosa bonheur", its a bar inside a big park called les buttes chaumonts metro station BOTZARIS, its open on friday and saturday night from 7 to 00pm, its really nice, food and wine is cheap, and you can meet nice locals! try to arrive early like 7 would be perfect if its not raining because its in a park but there is a big inside bar too
dress cool to go to this place, like shirt and jeans is perfect

- for a walk you can go on the two little islands, called ile de la cité and ile saint louis, metro station is "la cité"
my favorite island is "ile saint louis", its really tiny and cute
then you can walk all around the river and sit on the embankment with a sandwich

-on friday or saturday night if the weather is good, you can sit on the bridge "le Pont des arts" metro station louvres rivoli, here is a lot of parisians, sitting, playing the guitare, eating cheese and wine, its crowded when the weather is good, if not then you can still go during the day and look the beautiful view

-you can go to the museum if its raining, not if the weather is ok, that would be a pitty, paris is a beautiful city, its already a museum, and its nice to walk, we don't have that much good weather so you can go to the museum when its rainy and in the morning is better for the louvres less crowded
museum are usually free for student so bring you student id
my favorite museum is Palais de Tokyo, really nice, contemporary art (nothing with japan which is weird), they have great exhibitions and there is great bar inside, I really really like this place

-you can go for a walk in Le marais on sunday (because its the only disctrict which is living on sundays, bars and restaurants are crowded with locals) go there on sunday its nice, its the homosexual and jewish district, its a nice place
my favorite bar is Le trésor, and le café des philosophes

I hope this will help, if you go to one of those place, you will be with the locals, and you would have avoided all the tourist (paris is the most visited city in the world)
