My name is Delphine and I currently live in France :)

I have a dry witty sarcy sense of humour. I love live music and comedy.

I would say I am driven and ambitious. Ive just finished a masters and really enjoy what I do, I hope it's making a difference (healthcare service improvement, and prior to that, nursing).

I like proper conversations re life, evolution, the cosmos, international relations, politics, psychology and sociology to name a few topics of interest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Life is absolutely for living, I have been bitten by the travel bug and have a long list of places to see. Mainly the entire Southern Hemisphere + classical Europe + the very north for whale watching and the aurora borealis! I love spending time with people from all over the world :)

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - I would love to find a couple of fiction series to get into but I'm not quite sure what I am looking for so for now I'm more of a non-fiction reader. I have never understood that "non-fiction" you mean real life?! I like social history and human psychology

Movies - everything bar horror and slap stick humour.... I like the big blockbusters; comic book movies; based on true stories; disney; rom-coms...

Music - again everything really, rock (soft to heavy), classic rock, pop, classical, dance and hip-hop if I am out. To name a few artists, Ed Sheeran, Muse, Adele, Queen, Elton Jones, Abba (haha), Strauss, Vivaldi, Pavarotti, Bocelli.... I love live music - one of the best things in life!
