ABOUT ME

aaaaahhh. hhm. took a gap year last year and spent 5 months in europe. did english tutoring in spain for 3 months, stayed with family, and backpacked with friends for 2 months. I just love food, its one of the best things about travelling. i also enjoy a bargain greatly! recently started volunteer english tutoring of migrants and refugees and i so love it...theyre so interesting to talk to... i loved school so i guess im a nerd like that. love learning stuff. uni is pretty good, i love my arts subjects muchly and am looking at ending up a secondary english and history teacher...slightly daunting! but right now, all i can think about is finishing mu course so that i can travel, hopefully teach english on several continents! i figure its a good way to see this place. But right now im having a lot of fun spending my free time seeing gigs and dancing like a crazy child, basically.

PHILOSOPHY

travellers are the best type of people!!
i even like to feel like a tourist in my home city...partly because i always try to discover new places and connect with my surroundings, and partly because i try to fool myself that im permenantly on holiday....its for my own good!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

well, found out about it last year from a random guy in prague and was just like WOW, why didnt i think of that!? he hooked us up with some guy in poland who just took us out one night and we were pretty happy with that. and slightly disappointed that it was only at our last stop that we found out about CS.
