I grew in Quebec in a small french speaking community and moved to British Columbia when I was 17 old to learn English as a second language. I felt in love with British Columbia especially the west coast and decided to stay there for a while but end up living out here right until the present time. Life has been good and made wonderful friends which is like my family now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, I was influenced by a German guy while traveling years ago about that I should be signing up on this website. He told me that it was a great way to familiarise with a culture and getting to know new people while staying with them. I had experiences while traveling being invited to homes of people I met and so I already had a taste of this wonderful connection with a host. Therefore, I thought I would give it a try and see how this goes as an experience on this couchsurfing website.

Interests

I love being in connection with people from various cultural background and learning about their ways of life. This is when photography comes in as I like to take interesting photos. Foods is also a big thing. When exposed to different culture you end up sharing gastronomical experiences and allows you to expand your cooking skills.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a wide range of music from classical to pop music, rock and disco music in many languages. Same with movies from local movies to international movies in many different languages. Let's put it this way when something very different and appealing it becomes an attraction.

At one time, I went around India on my own and turned out to be an amazing experience.
