Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never surfed or hosted before, but that will hopefully be changing very soon! I first heard about CS from a friend who dropped everything to suddenly move to Seattle, and who has bounced around to other cities since and always had a great experience. I'm finally doing some traveling of my own so here I am!

Music: Whatever catches my ear. My go-to's are Spoon, Robyn, and Kings of Convenience. Currently obsessed with Pretty Girls by Little Dragon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watched the sun rise over Machu Picchu, I'm hoping to go back someday to do the Inca Trail. The train ride alone was already beautiful.

Swam in the bioluminescent bay in Vieques, Puerto Rico. Any movement agitates the microorganisms in the water, making the water light up when you swim. So magical!

Seen Local Natives perform in Los Angeles. I'm getting goosebumps just remembering it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a bit of biology and would be happy to edit and proofread papers, going back to my college newspaper past!

I'm always looking to improve my spoken Spanish and French, and to learn about other languages and cultures.

Most importantly, I make perfect scrambled eggs.
