ABOUT ME

Hi I'm Derek, I'm 20 years of age, after I finished high school and spent 3 years in college, I now have a deep interest for philosophy, theology and history, I am into deep discussions, but I also have my wacky side, so yeah I love to have a sense of humour. I like visiting art galleries and museums, I hang around with my friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Well since I'm a christian, I believe in loving God and loving my neighbour as myself or "do unto others as you would have them do unto you". I question everything, even my own faith, I do not trust my feelings only as long as they're consistent with the beliefs that I hold to. I could go on, but I think I'll stop their.

I havn't got any current couch surfing experience, but I would like to give it a try some time soon.

Interests

Reading, writing, dialogue with people who have different beliefs, working on a documentary (just haven't had time for that). I love early history, learning more about the progression of mankind and etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have gotten to know people who accept me for the person that I am, I reach out to people, especially those who are less fortunate, because I genuinely want to interact and help them, though I admit I do not always live up to that standard.
