Not to have time for a memoir because life never stopped. A life of learning and sharing and giving what I can in service of others.

ABOUT ME

I am the kind of friend that doesn't call regularly or email but takes the time to come around in person to see how things are going. When someone needs an ear I try to be an ear but mostly I just have fun, which is what most people really need. My interests right now are Italo Calvino and the poetry of Robert Penn Warren. Cowboy stories and strange nursery rhymes are also of passing interest. I grew up on a small cattle farm. I went to college. I graduated and worked for JP Morgan Chase and some other companies, rewriting their litigation default home lending foreclosure procedures.

Interests

I alternate reading and writing with getting out there and actually living. I try to meet new people and do new things so that I can truly mean it when I say that I try and only see people. I love words but I am most interested in those times when words fail to accurately describe experience. More importantly, I am interested in perspective and how singular events are interpreted and what value they are given by different "witnesses" in their life-course. That takes a lot of just going out and seeing just where the night takes me. Mostly poker, beer, driving and the cattle farm.
