About Me

Current? I just want to be succesful and independent as I could! :-)

In overall appearance it's pretty obvious that I'm a tomboy in general.... and I obviously won't deny that!

I tend to get quiet at most times, a lot of people has mistook me as an arrogant but the fact is that my mind fails me most of the time so what I'm actually doing is pretty much probably be blank or my head is being processed in another place or simply I just have too much thinking in my mind, so please don't mistake me as anything in a sense of weirdo because I do admit I'm a little random in the sense of 'presence' :-D

But really, as a person I am EXTREMELY open minded, you can say ANYTHING you want and I sincerely enjoy open minded conversations a lot and sarcacism once in a while also :-) But personally speaking though I do have to admit that I get more excited in talking about subjects that I know I'm more interested in, but I always love to find out about other stuffs so do please fill me in! :-)

Clichés are often true. And I hold on to them...!!
e.g. ;
Action speaks louder than words.
The best way to live your life is to do the advices you do to others.

I feel like I've been dealing with sorts of unimportant dramas half of my life that I know I'm missing some bigger pictures in life especially lack of focusing in what's actually more important to do. But not that I regret in having to be involved in them per se, I did learn a lot from my mistakes and I've never regretted most things I've done because in fact it is how I learned. Often I do wonder 'why' or 'what ifs' but I believe in hope and second chances.... If we try enough :-)

And I don't bitch about the things I say/state. My words aren't cheap, I mean what I say-- and I know it's most of the time >:-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Haven't really done anything yet -- but eager to do something at least, let's see......

Just once I went to Lombok with my family and crashed at this nice German gentleman whom my sister found in couchsurfing, lovely place, lovely couple :-)

Eager to experience more..!

Concerts. Concerts concerts concerts. I'm an extreme music buff, has too much musics and know too much artists/bands for my own health and pretty good in my line of interest-- which is mostly directing to indie, indiepop, electropop, synthpop, electro, lo-fi, indierock, alternative, britpop, twee, ska, punk rock, and the similars. I haven't been to much concerts in my life but I know it's something I'm deeply interested in especially now I live in New York and obviously all the good bands wants to come by in this city once in a while :-) Here's they whom I've seen live:
- Au Revoir Simone
- Club 8
- Feist
- Miami Horror
- Nouvelle Vague
- The Radio Dept.
- Sondre Lerche
- St. Vincent
- Steve Aoki
- VHS or Beta
- The Whitest Boy Alive
and soon to go see School of Sevel Bells, Blonde Redhead, Martha Wainwright and Metric :-)

I love traveling too. Cannot be more happier to travel all the time if I could, as I said, everywhere I go now feels like home, I love all kinds of nature and being in the middle of nowhere, I would love to go road trips to everywhere anywhere (definitely budget limit.....) and one day -- and I hope it doesn't sound too silly I would love to go to the moon :-D

And photography is something I can't part a day in my life. I am striving to become a professional now but I know personally I'm still lacking the experience and honestly I still don't know to which specific I'm directing to but in either from any of my interest if I can actually approach to it in the future and do them well I would be more than happy to apply that as a career :-) We'll see.

Music, Movies, and Books

I know most of the movies I've seen and loved are based on the director, that has become an inspiration and touched me a lot such as names like: Michel Gondry, Tarsem Singh, Pedro Almodóvar, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Kevin Smith, Danny Boyle, Coen Brothers, Sofia Coppola, Guillermo Del Toro ,Catherine Hardwicke, Gus Van Sant, Lars Von Trier, Baz Luhrman, David Fincher, Luc Besson, Tim Burton, Agustin Diaz Yanez, Wong Kar-Wai, Todd Haynes, Bernardo Bertolucci, Woody Allen, Fatih Akin....

As I said earlier, I'm a music buff. If you recognise my line or musicians you'd understand my taste :-)
Emily Haines & The Soft Skeleton
New Buffalo
Death Cab For Cutie
Cat Power
St. Vincent
The Postal Service
Aimee Mann
Au Revoir Simone
Crystal Castles
She & Him
Gregory & The Hawk
Devendra Banhart
School of Seven Bells
of Montreal
Fiona Apple
Russian Red
Iron & Wine
Kings of Convenience
Neko Case
and tons of more that I could keep writing forever......... :-)

I read all sorta books actually, kind of a bookworm myself. I recently find myself sitting in Barnes & Nobles for hours thinking that it was my home... Seriously all sorts :-)
