Overview
About Me
A fairly recent transplant to Harrisburg. I bought the house a couple of years ago, and it is a work-in-progress. I work for a college in NY, and so am away much of the time.
Quiet, contemplative, prefer one-on-one or small groups, love to travel (used to work for an airline), deeply spiritual.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the concept of hospitality, and admire those who have a real gift for it. I appreciate getting to know some locals when traveling to new places, especially because I often travel solo. My closest friends always seem to be from other countries.
Interests
My number one interest is travel, whether within the USA or internationally. When at home, I have a scooter that I enjoy taking out for rides. Outdoor cafes, reading, exploring.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, for several reasons.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Water-skiied on the Amazon.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A recent acquisition of an additional roommate has cut down on current opportunities. I'm hoping to create alternative space in the near future.
I'm not into the bar / nightlife scene, so I can't help you there. But I'd be happy to show you around Harrisburg a bit and/or point you in directions of interest.
