About Me

3Q2011 Central America and Brazil!

Never lazy. A big fan of traveling, photography, good weather and people. Optimistic & passionate. I have no more than 10 secret talents. I'm 167 cm tall, if that can be considered tall. Very considerate, kind & talkative. I'm growing slowly like a potato, I try to be exposed to different people and lifestyles. With so many ideas and possibilities around me, and I am continually evolving as I travel. I am not the same person who I was at 18, and I'm really different from the person I was merely 2 years ago.

I want to live in harmony with the rest of the world and to be myself. Be cheerful and strive to be happy (Desiderata).

The less you are and the less you express of your life the more you have and the greater is your alienated life. (Karl Marx)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I spread the word each time with the people I met to introduce them to this community. I like to participate at CS meetings, host people who need a couch and surf as much as possible!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I move to Korea because of love. In Korea I had a very powerful cultural shock. Living immersed in a complete different culture changed my perspective of the world. Eating live octopus, being exfoliated at a spa filled with Korean naked men and spend two days covered in mud are normal activities in Korea!.

While in Peru I had another kind of cultural shock. It was my first time in a "poor" country and the first time I feel the world is not fair at all. I also had a revelatory experience speaking with a Quechua Chaman.

I'm a small guy but obsessed with tall things. I've been in what was the tallest building of the world at that time (Taipei 101, Taiwan) the higher structure (CN tower, Canada), the tallest cathedral (Ulm, Germany) and the tallest office building in Europe (Frankfurt)

In China I hiked on top of the great Wall for 10 kilometers. Twice, the first time in 2008, the second time in 2010. There are awesome landscapes there!

I took the transiberian train from St. Petersburg to Ulaan Bataar. During this trip I experienced the Russian Banya with a 80 year old man hitting me with a bunch of branches and I discover the beautiful, special landscapes of Mongolia, a massive country where there is absolutely nothing.

I did a road trip on the 101, east USA & Canada. Camping in forests, and always worried because of the Bears.

On my life I always try to meet people from all over the world and learn about their culture. I realized we can do everything we want, if only we need to push ourselves a bit to do the first step.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Spanish language and anything concerning technology, specially telecommunications, Internet stuff or electronics, science or computing related topics.

I'm a curious learner eager to try it all! I'd love to be better in photography, languages, yoga, meditation, worldwide cuisine, art, environment and economics.

Can you teach me how to be a better person ? I'm sure you have mastered a skill I want to improve, it will be fun to discover it
