About Me
ABOUT ME
I live with my boyfriend and our dog, Greta. We are hanging out in Madison, WI until we figure out our next move. I like to read, go out to eat, and cook a lot. My boyfriend likes to take photos, make coffee, and fix bicycles. We are both growing a vegetable garden in our backyard, exploring southern Wisconsin, and biking everywhere we can. Greta is making friends with everyone.
PHILOSOPHY
"Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd." -Voltaire
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I lived in Chicago I went to a couple of group meet-ups. I have also hosted once, and my major involvement was doing original research on couchsurfing for my sociology capstone project. I used couchsurfing to study how social trust is created over the internet. Now that we are settled in Madison, I would definitely host again or just show someone around for a day. When we have a chance to travel again, I would be up for couchsurfing.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted a few people and my friend has also hosted a few people and every experience so far has been overwhelmingly positive.
