To see as much of SE Asia for as long as I can before my money runs out and I have to go back to being a grown up again.
I'm just some guy who saved all the money he could, sold everything he owned that someone wanted, and booked a one way ticket to the other side of the world. I'm usually pretty quiet and reserved but decided to add some adventure to my life by throwing myself into some countries I've never been to, with just a limited amount of research as far as what to do and where to go. Decided it was time to see the world and try new things. The adventure lies in the journey not the destination.
Be excellent to each other. You have no choice in the matter so you might as well try to enjoy it, and make the best of it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment I will be looking to meet some people to learn the sites to see, the best way to go about it, and maybe a floor to sleep on along the way. Depending on how well it all goes I'd be willing to pass on the favor if and when I make it back "home".
I was in a band for a long while, and traveled most of the US, so I've spent my fair share of time meeting strangers and sleeping on floors. I miss the experience of traveling and seeing new things and that is partly what pushed me to go out and see the world.
Laughing and learning new things.
Music, Movies, and Books
All sorts of music. If it is good, then it's good. I like comedies more than dramas as far as movies go, but I can watch just about anything. A documentary about anything is usually entertaining. I don't read as much as I should, but prefer non-fiction. Random trivia would probably be my favorite category.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Signed a record deal.
Teach, Learn, Share
Although I haven't played in a few years, I know a little on guitar and bass and a pretty good understanding of how the music business works. I'd love to learn to cook more meals, and enjoy learning new things.
