I am from the San Francisco bay area and I love hiking, camping, photography, mountain biking, road trips, venturing off into the backroads, and the outdoors. I have a somewhat varied work history, including a few years of handyman work, and some years at a bike shop, but will be going into audio production when I return to the States. At the moment, I'm traveling around Australia for a year in search of unforgettable and meaningful experiences, as well as to expand my skill set and personal growth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What better way to meet the locals, have a meaningful cultural exchange, and make friends from all over the world? I haven't had a chance to host anyone yet but love the idea for when I return home, especially as I have already had so many people extend their homes to me in my travels.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music? A little bit of everything. Mostly rock (descriptive, I know), some electronic. Genre-defying artists with excellent musicianship. I like mellow and moody but on the other hand I'm still a headbanger.

I avoid tv, but will watch the occasional documentary.

Books....I love reading, but unfortunately haven't had time :(

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cling onto a slippery vertical rock on a mountainside in the eastern fjords of Iceland....when in retrospect we could have hiked another quarter mile around to the side.
