I am Diane, brown eyes, brown hair, medium-sized... quite common actually! I am not exuberant or rambunctious, but rather discrete - a friendly girl, aware of how lucky I am to be healthy, free, and surrounded by people I love and who loves me.

I am a PhD researcher at Durham University (UK). I investigate the foundation of empathy in human and non-human primates. Passionate by the evolution of communication, the root of emotions and feeling.

No smoker. Vegetarian.

Concerning music, I am not difficult! Often it depends of my mood ;) And I am always happy to discover artists, traditional music... It is wonderfull to see how people express themselves via music: all around the world, music is an universal language!

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I did the famous Laugavegur trek in Iceland (July 2015) with my siblings.

I participated in a research project to investigate special behaviors and ecological conditions necessary to maintain health in wild orangutan in Indonesia. With indigenous, we spent lot of time in the sumatrian rain forest to searched, found and followed orangutans (August 2013). I will never forget the first time I spotted an orangutan in trees!!
