ABOUT ME

A few words about me ? Mmm, here are two: city and nature!

I was born in the bush far away from cities (northern forest of the province of Quebec) and lived there until the age of 5, so I have a strong connection with nature. But I also need the richness of big cities. My interests are then a mix of nature and urban life.

I am lively and easy to get along with. I usually enjoy simple pleasures with an extra appreciation of quality time and conversations with open-minded people. I love adventure, discoveries and learning about life and the world. Will love to listen to you!

Et, en passant, ma langue maternelle est le francais; je serai donc tres heureuse de vous ecouter me parler en francais aussi! (And since my mother tongue is French, you are most welcome to practice it with me if you want!)

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far, I have only hosted. The thing I enjoy the most is going for a long walk with my CS in my neighborhood, which is Old Quebec.

Walking, talking, having some good times, stopping for a coffee or a drink... all the while sharing my passion for this beautiful part of the city I am lucky to live in and listening to my CS life experiences.

I love nature and hiking so if you plan to connect with the beautiful mountain forests surrounding Quebec City, I might join you for a hike.

I am not all that interested in the bar and club scene but I can direct you to nice spots in town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Signed up in June 2013.
So far, hosted four times , hung out five times, loved it all!

音乐、电影和书籍

I love music, all kinds as long as you can hear talent, work and inspiration in it. Always looking for something to discover.
I read a lot! Novels are okay but it feels to me sometimes like fast food... fills you up quickly but doesn't nourrish you in the long run. Books reflecting the human experience interest me more.
Movies? Same tastes as above plus an extra interest in creative movies that take you as far as one's imagination can, either by the choice of the subject of the way it is approached . I have loved Inception and Interstellar by Christopher Nolan and Grand Budapest Hotel by Wes Anderson.
And because I believe one should not take oneself too seriously, there has to be a laugh here and there in it all.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Actually, I am lucky to have experienced quite a few amazing things, such as:
Hand feading a wild bear in the forest (ended up ok but DON'T!!!!)
Going ice canoeing on the St-Lawrence River, incredible rowing! (check the photos!)
Travelling to Tibet.

Real down to earth and practical with strong foundations, it helps to smooth out temperament differences between people and deepen any connection. Will be happy to share with you only if you ask.
