ABOUT ME

I have had a a phase of too-serious life (mostly through working with people world-wide who have serious problems) and am looking to lighten it all up. I live part of the year in Dharamsala, India, part in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and part in Eastern Tibet. I am a painter, my specialty is wildflowers growing in Tibet at 11,000-18,000 feet altitude and I lead tours (the Dream of the Turquoise Bee Tours) to Tibet in the summers. I am also a consultant for nonprofit organizations worldwide, training them to write project plans and funding proposals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have an apartment in Mexico and a house in India and can offer those to couch surfers, whether I am there or not.Am happy to hook Couch Surfers up with local people who help orient them to the towns and certainly become friends.

Interests

I couch surf in Tibet for 4 months every summer, staying with Tibetan villagers and nomads while I paint wildflowers for a botanical documentation project. They're all about couch surfing, but they don't know it yet!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw full solar eclipse at the top of Tro-La Pass (16,400 feet) in Tibet in 2009.
