ABOUT ME

I am a Panamanian American girl. I grew up outside Chicago and now live in Colorado. I am very interseted in social issues and plan to use my degree in Sociology to make as much an impact as I can on creating a positive change in my community/the world, which ever comes first. I am really outgoing and like to have a good time, but i also enjoy the quiet simple things in life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think this is a really great project that gives people the opportunity to explore and discover the world. I am a great believer in the growth and learning process that can occur from meeting new people and stepping outside of yourself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hotels and traveling can be expensive and most of the traveling I have been able to do in the past has been only able to happen because I had friends or family to stay with. Now that I have come across couch surfing i hope to travel more and give the same opportunity to others that has been so graciously offered to me.

Interests

Dancing and being anywhere music is playing, is my favorite thing to do. I love all types of music from salsa, blues, hard rock, pop, gangsta rap, to heavy metal, funk, sweet girl music, R&B, even a little blue grass! I also love to eat all types of ethnic food. Going to dinner is like going to a party to me because I get so much pleasure from eating tasty foods. My favorite type of foods are Thai and Indian and my mothers arroz con pollo of course!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching my younger sister give birth! Life is so natural and so crazy all at the same time.
