About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live and learn

ABOUT ME

I'm Diego, 23 years now and travelling. I was studying cinema in Chile but after 2 years of studies I decided to take a pause from the academy and get my mind cleared, after traveling alone in europe a couple of months I got back to Chile to work and chill. I'm now on the road again with my girlfriend Nico, enyoing life, learning from different cultures, taking analog pictures and trying to do a subjective documentary using a hi8 camera. Meeting people from different places is a good way to learn about other realities and making you realize that there's not a "true" or "right" way of living your life, you have to decide it for yourself.

PHILOSOPHY

Symmetry, respect to the nature, no masters... "property is a rip off".

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies? I like Bergman, Tarkovsky, Chris Marker, Tarantino. I enjoy watching slow movies but also funny ones hehehe
Music? I like listening to space rock, jazz, some experimental bands, noise and also some rock classics.
Books? Foucault, Camus, Sarte, Zerzan, Zizek, Roberto Bolaño, Rimbaud and some others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard question... I've survived a big earthquake! does that counts? hahaha

Teach, Learn, Share

When I was studying film I took classes from Social Science School at my university, recently I started taking analog pictures and with a friend we decided to develop black and white photos ourselves. It's not much knowledge but I'd be happy to share all I know, sharing knowledge is a good way to get to know other aspects of life and becoming a more complete individual, learning or teaching, we both grow.
