About Me

Hey there, i'm a 33 year old social and funny guy who lives in Belgium.
I live alone in a place called bavikhove, I grew up in Bruges, one of the most touristic and beautiful cities in Belgium. I'ts a small and quite village near Kortrijk. Located about 40 km from Bruges, 40 km from Gent and 20 km from Lille (France) So the ideale place to visit a part of France as well the 2 nicest cities in Belgium. I love spending time with people, have a nice talk, drinks something together, learn them about Belgium and our habits,.. I'm Always happy and in a good mood and I try to project that to the people around me. Why be sad if beeing happy is so much more fun!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have enough space in my home to accomodate 1 single person or a couple. I Always loved meeting new people with different nationalities, backgrounds, ... It's a nice way to tavel around with the local people. i visited a lot of different places around the world but Always in hotels, and visiting the most popular touristic sights. Couchsurfing gives me the oppurtunity to be with the locals, to learn from them how they live, work, have fun... And this feels so much nicer than just stayning in a hotel. I have de opportunity to offer you a nice place to sleep, to learn something about Belgium, i can cook you a very good meal (i love to cook for people), to show you around in Belgium and to give my freindship to people all over the world!

Interests

I have a lot of interest. To meet as many people all over the world, to enjoy their friendship and knowledge, i love to go out for a drink or a diner. To teach people everything I know about Belgium and our food & drink habits, I like to sing (don't know if im good at it, but still love it), i love to dance (4 years ballroom dancing and 8 years Irish tapdancing - long ago), I'm interested in a countries culture, historie, traditions, gastonomie, ... So you see, i have a lot of interests, but it's up to the people I meet to give me more new interests :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

My choise of music depends on my mood, sometimes it could be smooth jazz, house music, latin, dutch songs. I like a lot of things, except whene ther is the word hard or heavy in front (hard core, heavy metal, ...). As for books, i'm not that big reader. When i'm on a relax holiday i just take one book, a thriller (ex. Dan Brow), but for the rest the most of te books i have are cooking books, travel guides and some books about managemant (for my work). I like al kinds of movies, just not to fund of drama.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swiming, snorkeling and diving with wild Dolphins in Egypt. That was amazing and unforgetable... and living for 1 year in Turkey as an animator, its was an awsome time!
