Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Whenever I can I am looking out for Couchsurfer. When I am out of Wiesbaden I try to organize a little event to meet other Couchsurfer. So you get many friends. I say always: the first point is for me to meet new persons and get informations. Secondly I am looking for a Couch.

Until now I have only positive experiences. The people I met have been all wonderfull.

See my article as a Senior-Couchsurfer:

Also my first host on my couch(NIKLAS) was an stimulating event. On the other side the first couch I used(GIANCARLO) was also a real Italian hospitality-event.

A big event for me was the german-italian CS-Meeting in my hometown of Wiesbaden(19.04.08). See the pictures:

I organized this successfull evening together with Josh Cahill. We got much publicity in radio and the local newspaper.

A wonderfull event was the famous PIZZA-MEETING in Pistoia/Italy at Massimos'House 9/10/11 MAY 2008. This was CS in reality! There were CS-friends from all over the world. Here are some fotos:

I never forget the Vienna Calling 2009 with the European Ambassador Meeting, where I had the pleasure to get in contact with Casey Fenton and the other members of the CS-Crew in San Francisco.

As Italy is my second home I am so often in meetings in this country. Here I feel what CS means: to make friends, friends and again thousands of friends and always to stay in touch.

Overall CS has enlarged my mind and my thinking dramatically.

Young and old is a good combination in CS. See the article in the Wiesbadener Kurier 7/8/09 about Niklas(my first host)and me:

In 2011 there was a nother article about me in the regional Wiesbadener Zeitung:

My greatest event was in 2011: A film with and about me
was produced for the German Television. So I surfed a couch in Finnland and Spain, and for two girls from Hong Kong I gave my couch in Wiesbaden. The title of the Film: "Von Couch zu Couch." A wonderfull experience in my CS-Career.

Here the first part of my film at the end of this TV-Contribution about CS:
