I am looking to travel as much as I can and integrate as much as possible into every society I encounter. My initial plan is to tutor English and play volleyball, while in Milan. Still, life is full of random events and adventures, so nothing is set in stone. I try to live in the moment by taking each day at a time and planning as little as my obligations permit me to. I feel I have come to understand this way of living much better through my past 4 years of sobriety, which requires such a mindset for proper recovery. I am excited to finally begin pursuing my dreams and can't wait to meet some fantastic people in the process.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to become a part of a community that I have only recently become acquainted to by my friends. After discussing about it further and attending events hosted by members in Los Angeles, I have come to realize the scope of this organization and the goodwill that is still permeating throughout it.

Music, Movies, and Books
Get to know me so we can discuss the scale to which the beat and jazz scenes of LA have changed the face of American music. Or, if you'd prefer, we can go over my unadulterated love for anime.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was one of the first people to witness Flying Lotus' Layer 3 at a live performance. I was blessed enough to be there for the Daft Punk performance at Coachella in 2006 on their LED pyramid. And I've gotten to meet and converse with some amazingly talented artists by living in LA, most importantly being Thundercat on multiple occassions.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a firm believer in education as the greatest tool the human race can use to propel each generation forward. The issues at hand, though, are what direction we take and how we properly harness the ever-increasing tools at our disposal. I hope to do what I can to either be an effective and compassionate educator or a knowledgeable and well-connected education reformer (or both!).
