I'm a Massage Therapist and I work at The Broadmoor Hotel Spa which is a five star five diamond resort in the Colorado Springs area. I have three grown sons I adore. I'm moving into the next chapter of my life and I want it to be filled with adventure! I also want it to be safe and within my budget, so that's why I'm here. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a fellow traveler who wants to see and experience the world and other ways of living besides that which I have already known. I need to be a part of this community so I may do so and in return, I would like to open my home to others so they may do the same.

Interests

I love to hike Colorado mountain trails. I have also mountain biked many of those trails and trails in Moab, Utah, although honestly it has been awhile. I love rock climbing and camping, back packing and bike riding. I would like to learn to water ski, scuba dive and to play tenns. I love to read and watch movies and play with my pets- 1 small dog, 2 small parrots and 1 cat.. I also am beginning to meditate again which I want to become a daily habit like I used to...along with exercising at the gym which I only do 3-4 days/week.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love jazz music, classical, new age and of course spa music...as well as popular radio. I have many favorite movies over the years as well as books. Favorite movies, hmmm..."Planes, Trains and Automobiles","Princess Bride","Sense and Sensebility","When Harry Met Sally","Forest Gump" and "Keeping the Faith" to name a very few all time favorites!
My favorite books are numerous as well; "The Road Less Traveled","Wild", "Conversations With God Trilogy",several Deepak Chopra books, several Wayne Dyer books, "The Celestine Prophesy Trilogy to name a few...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took my eldest son, Christopher, on a sky diving adventure on his 19th birthday and it was the biggest thrill yet!
