ABOUT ME

I was born in NZ and have lived in London for over 11 years. I work as an IT contractor (as a Business Analyst - I am not techy!) which gives me flexibility to take time off for travel. I think my friends would describe me as down-to-earth, open minded, someone who likes to laugh and who always has some kind of 'extra curricular' activity on the go. I am generally a curious person and enjoy new knowledge and experiencing new things. I like to keep active and prefer the outdoors - I use my bicycle a lot in London which helps keep me sane! I also spend a lot of my spare time reading about & tasting wines from all over the world.  I love travelling as it provides perspective.

Currently I have only had one CS experience - I hope to become more involved in the future & participate in hosting. 

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to couch surfing but after a great experience in Mendoza I think CS is the way forward for travelling!

Interests

Improving my Spanish, wine related pursuits (attending tastings/events, travelling to wine producing areas, giving tastings - I completed the WSET Diploma in Wines & Spirits a year ago), cycling... generally trying to maintain a healthy work/life balance!
