About Me

Eat and dance my way around the world.

I'm a 25 year-old homo ex-drama student. I love meeting people, partying and baking.

I don't like rudeness, apricots and having wet socks.

As I said, I really love meeting new people and, like the any mid-twenties kid, I like to have a few drinks and party.

I really like Peter Carey and Harry Potter.

I have traveled across Europe and Couch Surfed a few times. I traveled mostly by myself and I loved being able to set my own agenda and putting myself in a position where I had to meet people I may not always talk to and experience things from a different point of view.

In short, I'm a pretty fun guy who likes to get pretty silly but who loves nothing more when travelling than arriving in a new city, trying to make my way from the airport/bus stop/train station/ferry dock to my hostel, dumping my bags and getting lost and exploring.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best thing about Couch Surfing, which extends to travel in general, is sharing experiences with people you might never have been acquainted with. You learn to judge less and enjoy more. Generally, I like to cook dinner for my host and get to know who I'm staying with that way, followed by a few beers or a bottle of wine somewhere cool.

In Katowice, Poland, I surfed with a friend and attended a three day music festival seeing some amazing acts.

In Rome, Italy, I stayed with an Italian guy, a Russian guy, an American and two French-Canadian girls as we got drunk one night off Sambuca and sang Cat Stevens songs with a guitar.

In Edinburgh, Scotland, I stayed in a spare room at a student's apartment and I shared dinner with he and his friends one night, while during the day he and his roommate took me on a tour of the city.

Back in Melbourne, I hosted a friend of a friend and I took him the next day to Hanging Rock, a rock formation made famous by the classic Peter Weir film Picnic at Hanging Rock. He also came along to my group of friends' Christmas party.

These varied but all amazing experiences are why I like to Couch Surf. The thing that's consistent is that I am neat, considerate of my host's wishes, friendly and open. I like to laugh and have conversation. I like to have a few drinks but I certainly wouldn't be disturbing my host by coming home at 4am.

Overall, if you want a fun, good looking traveler with a few good stories to tell, then I'm your man!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sneaked into a music festival just outside of Berlin with three friends, no tent, no sleeping bag and one change of underwear. It rained the whole time but it was definitely worth it and I would do it again!
