Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
mainly hosting so far as I don't have much holiday time, unfortunately
I have been hosting since about June 2012 and have hosted about thirty times so far, in groups of 1-4, so all together maybe 50 people. I have not been surfing myself so far, but hope to try it soon.
I love fantasy books and films, detective novels, figurative art, interior decoration, gardening. I like to collect sculptures and paintings, and have dabbled a bit myself at both but with no recognizable success so far ;-) I have written 2 fantasy novels together with a friend, which both have turned out about as good as my paintings. As for sports, I do fencing at our local club and try to attend our weekly trainings regularly but on a purely non-professional level. As probably everybody on this website I love travelling and recently have fallen in love with Japan and have recently returned from my third visit.
Music, Movies, and Books
on books mainly Fantasy, all by Terry Pratchett, some Robin Hobb, Game of Thrones, Wheel of time, Thraxas, Tolkien, sone detective novels and humorous novels. Loads of tv game Shows and stuff; I like the BBC antiques programs like Bargain hunt and similar. Take me out in ITV. And of course the Game of thrones tv series, Sherlock, etc.
For Music mainly easy listening Pop Music that I tend to mix with local Artists from wherever I am on Holidays so I have some Chinese, Russian Japanese and so on Pop Music. Currently also K-Pop
