ABOUT ME

I recently temporarily relocated to Los Angeles to further my career. I spent a number off years after college working in International Development, and loved it, but got a major wake up call when I was laid of when the economy crashed. So, I decided that I wanted to pursue my dreams...dreams tend to be recession proof right? (smile) I'm coming to the end of my time in LA, and thought couch surfing would be an interesting way to end this adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm really big on equality and human rights. I believe that human rights and equality should be honored across the board, despite religious or political beliefs. I'm very serious about that.

I'm new to the site, but I'm searching to surf.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never really been a surfer in the past, although I've played host to many a surfer. Usually folks new to the area, looking for a place to crash while they get their bearings. It's always nice to help someone get on their feet.

Interests

I love to cook, sing, read...I'm an arts and crafts NUT (although I don't usually share that with people, lol) I'm addicted to reality...not reality TV...I love life and meeting new and interesting people.

My favorite book is called "Some Pain, Some Love, Sometime..." by J. California Cooper. AWESOME book of short stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One really cool thing I've done is visiting Soweto in South Africa. Everything about that day was amazing; the food, the people; even the weather. Very rich experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm an AWESOME cook, I'm also a certified make-up artist. I love teaching people how to do things. I'm a pretty cool and effective teacher also.
