About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Discovering new perspective on the world to define my own one. Whaouh! That sounds quite spiritual: I'm definitely growing wiser ;-)

ABOUT ME

I will be 30 years old at the end of 2011 and don't feel as wise as the standard 30 something in my mind should be. It something that should worries me but surprisingly doesn't and THAT is worrying! Over-thinking is one of my main feature but I'm starting to win against it by doing things instead of thinking them. For example I'm running (and try to survive)a half marathon in november. Presenting (and hopefully pass)the aikido brown belt and the PADI open water diving degree. And the tricky one: fight away shyness to make new friends. Guess where couch surfing fit in that :-)?
I like to cook and learn new recipes, the more "exotic" (different from the standard french gastronomy)the better! A meal is a convivial moment of exchange and I love that. Like reading as well and just finished Papillon d'Henri Charriere, a terrific book full of adventure with a main character larger than life.

PHILOSOPHY

Respect and openness are essential to rewarding relationship between people: I treat others as I would like to be treated. It is useless to be moody on the past, I work on changing the future so it will be what I want it to be. It takes effort to be positive but it is a worthwile effort.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We went in Istambul with my friend for a long week-end and enjoyed a lot this amazing city, the food, the Galata tower, the roof top bars. On the Sunday evening we went out for a beer and seated on a terrace a Turkish girl grabbed my friend to dance in the middle of the street with other people, we then met her 2 friends and thought they didn't speak English and us turkish we had an amazing night which finished with the sun rising over the bosphore: brilliant !
Another great memory was swimming in the sea with a turtle in Martinique. There's also la Feria de Bayonne with all the people dressed in white apart from a red scarf...
