To explore new cities, meet diverse, interesting people, and hopefully find a place to call home along the way.
I'm a 24 year old recent college grad . I spent quite a bit of time overseas in school, but now I want to experience more major American cities and possibly find a place to start the next chapter.
I'm most interested in locations that can engage me both culturally and intellectually. Like to try to sample the local art, architecture, and pertinent historical locales when I travel, but I'm certainly not averse to just enjoying the culture and company.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can't currently offer my couch because I don't currently have a steady home per se. I've been living in a rural area for the last few months after moving from the city I went to college in, and for obvious reasons I'm soon to move on from that. Hopefully in the not too distant future I'll have space to offer to others as well as looking for surfing destinations.
None so far, trying this out for the first time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The night before St. Patrick's day in Dublin, 2010. The parade was nice, but absolutely everyone in the city gets the day of off work, and so the night before every pub is packed. In news that should surprise no one--the Irish possess fantastic drunken hospitality.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am an aspiring fiction writer, primarily short fiction, and am always glad to discuss the process and/or compare rejection slip collections. I've also spent a good deal of time working on my family's Missouri farm over the years, and if you're one of those strange people who is actually curious about that sort of thing, you may be able to persuade me to share.
