HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have let people crash before I ever heard of this. Right now is a bad time to host but I will be able to in the future.

As of yet have not surfed, but plan to do so in earnest in the Spring of 2010.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Roommate's friend lived on our living room floor for five months. I feel like I've paid my dues ;)

Just recently heard of this site however.

Books - I read a lot of history, particularly U.S.

Madame Bovary, The Great Gatsby, On The Road, Dharma Bums, The Outsiders, Into The Wild

Music - Fleet Foxes, Strokes, Shins, Nirvana, Beatles, New Pornographers, She and Him, Sufjan Stevens (Illinoise!), Franz Ferdinand, Elliot Smith, etc.

Movies - The Hurt Locker, Inglorious Basterds, Zombieland, A Serious Man, Food Inc., The Hangover, The Informant, Public Enemies, Burn After Reading, Juno, Match Point, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) Some people in Ohio torched a stolen pick-up truck until it was charcoal.

2) Drove from Chicago to Idaho and back in 3 1/2 days.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ask me to explain some random period of history.

Can offer some kind of guitar/bass instruction if you don't already know how but happen to have a guitar handy.

Can teach you how to edit digital photos (have not worked with film much however).
