she is affectionate,kind, and generous. She is intelligent. She reads a lot. She does not get enough exercise. She tends to be literal, so her sense of humor is limited. She is a "James Baldwin" sort of self-conscious liberal. She is not religious, but believes in the Golden Rule.

Interests

I read a lot, spend time with daughter who lives across the street, and grandchildren there. I like most music, am a good cook when there is someone to cook for. Am a lifelong Democrat. I like movies, but only serious ones, often depressing with sad endings. I like most music. Like plants and gardening when I can find a good place to have them. I like water in almost any form.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Many such moments on a river boat trip in Russia, going north from Moscow to St. Petersberg. The births of my two daughters, the births of my five grandchildren, especially the one I witnessed. The day my daughter got married.
