About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Taking time off study to travel the world.

ABOUT ME

I'm, you know, a normal middle class person like everyone else here. I grew up in a house, with a family, I went to school, uni, worked for a while, got bored of working, studied some more, got bored again and decided to travel around the world instead. Oh, and I like cats, cats are nice.

PHILOSOPHY

It's a funny old world, and there's not enough to drink.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meeting people as I travel, local insight and all that. Of all the things I see travelling, it always ends up being the people I enjoy the most - this is a great way to meet them! I'm also pretty decent cook if you're keen on trying kiwi cuisine...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My flatmate and I used to have people come and stay with us in NZ. Was cool, met lots of interesting people - looking forward to trying the other side of the coin.

Interests

In my real life, when I'm not travelling, I'm a student of Psychology. I'm a little over halfway towards completing my studies but have decided to take a break and travel the world (I've been at uni for 5 years now, I need a breather!)

Outside my professional life I'm a pretty keen musician & rather enjoy driving noisy things at high speed - motorcycles, boats, snowploughs...

Music, Movies, and Books

All sorts. Quality over genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Finishing a jug of beer through a drinking straw in 17 seconds. To the best of my knowledge the record still stands.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a pretty good cookie recipie if you're into baking.
