Hey! My name is Dmitry (Dima, Dim - you could choose any of this forms or invent something new) and I'm from Russia. Currently I'm studying in Germany as an exchangle student for one term. In August I'm planning to set off on a trip round Europe, try hitchhiking, find new friends and improve my language skills (I'm kind of a shy person and I hope it'll force me to communicate more xd).
I'm also have very little experience at travelling, so I would be grateful for any tips and advices.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I'm looking not for a soulless stay in a hostel but real people, who can tell stories, laugh, and share their knowledge. This is my first trip and I think that you guys must have great expirience in treveling and stuff, and I could really learn from you.

Interests

I like playing compute games (RPG, MMORPG, MOBA), watch serials, read books, but I also like doing sports and trying something new. Plus I'm fond of calligraphy, fonts and old vintage pens.

Musik: depends on the mood, I like not styles but bands. Sometime I listen to 70-80 hits, blues, jazz, power metal, even japanese anime OSTs are in my day-to-day playlist.
Movies: dunno, maybe In Bruges, Oldboy and RAID + some anime stuff like Madoka, Gurren Laggan and FLCL
Books: Hyperion cycle by D. Simons and short novels by Henry
