Overview
About Me
23 y/o Australian guy travelling through Europe! Eager to meet up with other travellers and meet people from different cultures and walks of life. I´ve grown up in Australia my whole life and have fallen in love with the European way of life, cities and culture.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've started couch surfing to meet travellers and locals in a way that is so much more fun and rewarding than staying in hostels, it's the best way to new people from different walks of life and make new friendships.
Interests
Climbing and bouldering, music, books, politics and history. I'm vegan and love trying out different restaurants too! I love to cook for people and always love sharing a big meal with friends.
I love the outdoors, camping and hiking, and feel most at home in the mountains and forest. Melbourne is an awesome city for cycling so I'm always on my bike!

Music, Movies, and Books
Interpol, Savages, Iceage, Joy Division, Deafheaven, Talking Heads, Darkside, Boards of Canada, Underworld, Big Scary, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The xx, Yo La Tengo, Massive Attack, The Knife...and the list goes on forever. Into a lot of post-punk, indie and electronic genres but I can listen to anything. Listening to new music is one of my passions and it`s always great hearing stuff from other countries that you would never hear at home.
Choosing top movies is always tough, my 10 would have to be The Game, Moon, Children of Men, Ex Machina, Apocalypse Now, The Life Aquatic, American Psycho, 2001 A Space Odyssey, Pulp Fiction and Sunshine
Dystopian books tend to be my favourite (Nineteen Eighty Four, Anthem etc.) but I also love travel journals (Marco Polo, Paul Theroux), but I have a huge spot for sci-fi such as the Foundation series.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed to the top of a 1,700m peak at Lake Bohinj in Slovenia, it was -2c at the top, we had to get to get down before it got dark and our fingers started to go numb!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a delicious veggie curry and a good insight into life from an aussie perspective.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain
