About Me

CURRENT MISSION

STUDY HARD AND TRAVEL ALL THE WAY.

ABOUT ME

I am an international student from Singapore, a sophomore at the lovely Clark University in Worcester, MA. I came to Clark 2 years ago on my own, and I guess that has brought some major changes to me; some good, some bad. Most of all, I engaged on a journey of self-discovery that was only possible because of the dramatic change in environment. It's been a hard and tedious journey, definitely not comfortable because I try my best to push myself out of my comfort zone. So far, it's been rewarding!

I used to be someone who's laid back, kinda happy-go-lucky person, and I wanted things to be simple. I was happy with my surroundings and I was so comfortable that I chose to ignore the insecurities. I am still much that person 2 years ago, only more driven, less insecure, a teeny bit more confident. I still kept some of the best parts, so I'm pretty much happy 90% of the time, and I don't get bothered by frustrating things for too long.

I am pretty easy to talk to. We can talk about anything, from international politics, to culture, food, music (Kpop yeah), life lessons, shopping, photography, beauty... etc. etc. And like all other CSers, I really love meeting new people! Everyone has their own story, and the important thing is to let them tell it. It's easy to add our own version to the story, but we need to keep an open mind to see beauty.

I love traveling. It can be a mini road trip over the weekend, or a long international flight to another country. I enjoy every minute of it. Planning, booking tickets, contacting people, traveling there etc. etc. It broadens your horizon and make you more aware of the differences and similarities between and within cultures.
