CURRENT MISSION

I love to travel and experience new cultures. I recently relocated to Shanghai from Denver, Colorado. USA. I have a 14 year old son who lives with his father in the US.

ABOUT ME

I love to meet people and travel. I have hosted many exchange students as well as business persons, and teachers. I love to open my home to others. I think of myself as a global citizen. I love to learn about new cultures and new friends. I hope to host you soon. I am interesting, well read, well educated, well travelled and hope to continue this. I am a good host, interesting, funny, open, energetic, kind, and reliable.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a Christian, and live my life as such and treat others as I would like to be treated. I am a single mom, but share parenting of my son with his father. I have previously owned pets and I believe this says a lot about a person. I currently do not have a pet and miss mine terribly. I am a non smoker and would prefer not to host anyone who smokes. I am an open thinker and do enjoy lively conversations about anything.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and to read. I love any music from Opera, rock and roll, folk, country western, classical, just about ever kind of music. I enjoy reading about other cultures, historical fiction, and travel books. I enjoy movies, but prefer live theatre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have had many amazing experiences from birthing my son 14 years ago, to riding an ostrich in S. Africa to swimming with dolphins, and riding my bike through wine country. There are many more great experiences waiting for me and I hope to share some more of them with you.

I love to learn from everyone. Every time I meet someone new, I learn something from them or about them. I am rich in life experiences and have had the good fortune to have a very blessed life. I hope to be able to share some of my experiences with those new faces that cross my path.
