I am a grandma, and spend about half my time at my son's house playing with the kids. I am a kayaker and kayak instructor. I love to be on the water. I have let my hair go grey now and don't use makeup nor do I dress up regularly. I am an "old hippie". Love great coffee and great chocolate.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My son and I have done a lot of travelling, camping out in parks and by roadsides. We traveled in Scotland and had wonderful experiences staying in spare rooms with great hosts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I discovered a cancerous lesion in a patient and followed that patient until surgery was performed and the patient was healthy for two years.

Teach, Learn, Share

I may have access to kayaks to get out on the water. I love to learn new things, and would love to learn from others. We could get together for a cup of coffee at my favorite coffee shop.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am used to camping with others where we share food and cooking. I would love to do the same with hosts.
