About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Why so serious? Let's have a good time while we can!

ABOUT ME

Hi everyone! I was motivated to join this site by a lot of friends who have good experiences. Nobody had a bad experience, from what I've heard. I'm traveling to San Francisco very soon for Treasure Island, and would love to meet up with some cool people while I'm there. It'd be a big bonus if they were planning to go to the festival as well, or are able to show me around town - as I'm traveling by myself.

I mostly love to go out to see music and art shows. Also, I am still studying and play a lot of dodgeball. Do you have that in your city? Do you want to try playing in Vancouver? It's fun!

I'm also an aspiring comedian and am starting a podcast soon about cool people in Vancouver.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything is relative. I love trying new things, and since we only live once, we shouldn't be afraid of the unknown! Most importantly, be excellent each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I contribute to my city in different ways. I am starting a podcast all about interesting people and projects in my city. Our mission is to be entertaining, interesting, and inspiring.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Still looking for my first time! I would love to be able to reciprocate if anyone wants to visit Vancouver.

Interests

I love music, concerts, looking at art and making art, films, coffee, reading, hanging out at a pub or bar.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll have to come back to this. The list is endless, but while I like a lot of indie/hipster/esoteric music, I still always come back to old faves like Radiohead and Arcade Fire, Daft Punk, even Led Zep. But the lineup at TIMF should be a good indication of what I like. Shabazz Palaces, all right!

I read a lot of philosophy, sociology, and art books. Economics, graphics novels, biographies; whatever looks interesting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Solo drive across Canada. Took about a month and I saw every province and major city. I slept on the beach in Nova Scotia.

I just saw Amon Tobin live and that was pretty mind blowing.
