Marine researcher, who is found at the beach surfing in summer or hitting the piste in winter on a board. 5 years living in Japan, so can point you in the right direction to experiance the real sights and smells of the Land of the Rising Sun over a couple of cold ones.

Feel free to contact me for info or advice on travel in Japan, especailly around New TOkyo airport (Narita) as I live near there. Nice to have a friendly face in a foreign land!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In my time travelling during my research I have had some amazing hospitality and warmth extended my way and would love to give some back. I`ll never forget the 90 year old couple down in South Japan who invited me into their home for the night and regalling me with the most amazing stories of their lives, this experiance was EXACTLY what real travel was to me, meeting and experianceing firsthand a diff culture.

Work with marine turtles every year, studying their nesting patterns on the beaches of Japan.

I currently work in marine research in Japan and can show people some excellent beaches in summer for surfing and diving.Also I am often found on the slopes in winter snowboarding and could help out anyone wanting info on piste action here! Summer surfer, winter boarder!
