About Me
CURRENT MISSION
At the moment I am learning to grow up. It's not as fun as being wild, carefree and travelworn, But it's still important.
ABOUT ME
Lived and worked inGlasgow, Scotland for the last 2 years and traveled when I could afford it. Was lucky enough to be able to drive all through England, Wales and half of Scotland. I went snowboarding in France and drinking in Copenhagen. I did Oktoberfest in Munich and Fringe Festival in Edinburgh. Life was an adventure, and I'd like for it to continue to be one.
PHILOSOPHY
"You've got to have respect to get respect" So I endeavor to treat all new people that I meet with courtesy and decency. It has worked for me the last 27 years, so I'll stick to it.
Work hard, but have a goal in life is also good.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have yet to stay with anyone from couch surfing. Though when I was working In Brisbane a few years ago, we had a regular meet-up at the bar that I worked at for couch surfers. They always seemed to be decent people and that's how I heard about the couchsurfing website and experience.
Interests
I enjoy hill walking and climbing.
I love to explore the world around me. It's amazing the things that you can see and experience within an hours walk of your own home.
Learning interesting and useless skills is fun. I recently started teaching myself to juggle.
I try to keep a bit active by cycling a few times per week.
Animation and Visual effects. (Going back to uni to study it soon hopefully)

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read. Favourite Authors include Orson Scott Card, David Eddings, Terry Pratchett, Brandon Sanderson, Robert Jordan.
I love music in most genres, but would love to learn to play Piano. I played Guitar for several years. I plan on picking up both again when I settle back down after my travels are over and done with.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling Europe was fun. But it's not unique only to me. My childhood was fun. I think I was very lucky in the way I was raised, It was out in the scrub in Queensland (Outback Australia). From a family without much, I had to work for everything. I built my first motorbike from scraps of other bikes that I found all across the community. A frame here, A tire there and another over there. Cables and gear levers from the garbage dump. I built a working motor from 2-3 other engines and built a motorcycle that I could ride away on.
Every school holiday I took that motorbike out into the bush with friends and hiked 6-8 hours until we found amazing places to camp and explore for days at a time. I had to work hard for a lot of things, but the rewards in my life and in my outlook on life were worth it.
