COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time in my life I offered a couch to a visitor. It means I got up at one o'clock in the midnight, and took a taxi to the airport, I sent a message to ask where she was, and I didn't get a answer, then I made a phonecall, and met her outside the gate, then took the taxi (I kept the driver waited there because it might need one hour to wait in line to get a taxi) back to my home, took shower, then went back to sleep, it was already three o'clock in the morning. I was intended to go to a park in the afternoon, but my visitor needed my help to get a train ticket at a ticket office, she did not like to get one through phonecall. She was surfing on the internet in the evening without switching it off when she went asleep, and she snored. When she got up at ten o'clock, she needed me to accompany her to the Tianmen Square, and hoped my accompany to the Forbidden City. I introduced her to the gate and let herself in, and made an appointment time and place. And, that was not enough, she needed me to acompany her to the railway station to catch up the train, it took me 90 minutes to come back.

Now, I am happy to say goodbye to her. I offered the couch, and I had to prepared dinners, paid fare for bus, subway and taxi now and then, and I was needed everywhere. She did not want a travel agency, but hoped me to be her private guide and helping hand. That was too much. I did not have so much time to offer right now, and I did not expect to offer so much.
